Every fall in Colorado, the leaves turn bright yellow and the trails turn gold. As I was hiking through Kenosha Pass on this trail, I was hesitant to move forward as I didn't want to step on the beautiful yellow leaves. The trail was laid out before so golden and so inviting.
As I wandered about Kenosha Pass in Colorado, I was greeted with a beautiful dusting of white snow and Aspen trees full of yellow leaves. This moment that only comes once a year always has me yearning for more.
This tree was sitting alone against the backdrop of the Rocky Mountains in the distance. The sun had just set and everything was turning down for the night. I captured this tree while hanging out of the window of my car since I was in the bison area of the park and visitors are not allowed out of their cars.
